AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to introduce the front mount intercooler upgrade for the VAG MQB EA888.3 platform.
This freer-flowing intercooler is a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM set up.

The Airtec Intercooler for VW Golf 7, Seat Leon Cupra and Audi S3 8V features a state-of-the-art 63mm core design with high-flow cast end tanks, providing superior surface area, efficiency, and volume compared to the standard model. Despite these significant improvements, the intercooler is designed to fit seamlessly behind the original bumper without the need for any trimming or cutting. As per AIRTEC's standards, the intercooler underwent rigorous back-to-back testing on the dyno against the OEM counterpart. The results showed a remarkable decrease in air charge temperatures, making it a highly effective upgrade. Our test car, equipped with a Cobra cat-back exhaust system and Revo Stage 1 software, saw a significant drop in intercooler temperatures, averaging at 64 degrees and peaking at 68 degrees after 5 consecutive runs.
